The USB converter allows a PC's USB port to be used to communicate as an RS232 or RS485 serial port.

FEATURERS

¨      Enables RS232 and RS485 devices to connect to a PC via a USB port using Virtual COM Port (VCP) technology, allowing these devices to appear as an additional COM port available to the PC. Application software can then access the device in the same way it would access the device if it was connected directly to a COM port.
