Continuing with the success of the Eclipse range of voice switched colour Video monitors, Videx have released their latest SLIM surface mounting range of this popular video monitor.
Measuring only 3.5cm deep, this latest release of the Eclipse requires no wall mounting plate. Cable terminations are on the back plate, which then connects to the front panel via a ribbon cable.
Manufactured in impact resistant ABS plastic the latest range is available in three colours, polar white, silver and carbon fibre effect.
Large call accept and lock request buttons are standard to all Eclipse Monitors with additional buttons to control privacy and camera recall functions, all of these buttons have led indication of their operation, two additional buttons are also available for user defined services.
Using the 8 function buttons, the user has full control of volume level, contrast and brightness and is able to select one on 9 call tone melodies (SL5478 only).
Speech from an incoming call can be controlled in one of two modes.
Single press of the call accept button will give hands free operation. Press and holding the call accept button for 3 seconds will give simplex speech (press to talk release to listen.
The SL range of video monitors (unlike the surface version of the standard Eclipse range) will not accept a telephone handset as an option.
