Based on the highly popular SLK Slimline Audio Kit, Help Point from Videx Security is designed for use by anyone who needs to call for assistance when faced with obstacles, such as stairways and doors, within a building. The user simply presses the “Press for Help” button to communicate their need for assistance. Help Point may also help organisations meet the requirements of the new Disability Discrimination Act.

The Help Point package consists of a wall mounted die cast audio panel, which is the call point, and an easy-wipe ABS telephone handset. It features a high visibility backboard design that can be customised to include features such as company logos. Effective communication is provided with loud and clear duplex speech. Two options are available: option one offers full installation with lock release, whilst the second option is a plug in power supply unit, without lock release. The call point is suitable for outdoor installation.

Help Point will appeal to retailers, public building owners and commercial organisations who want to offer their customers or staff, occasional assistance at particular points in their premises.
